The Gilded Age Season 4 Arrives 1 November | Looking Back at Our Season 3 Work

The Gilded Age returns for Season 4 on Sunday 1 November on HBO and HBO Max, and we couldn’t be more excited to see Bertha, Agnes and the rest of New York society back on screen.

Before the new season arrives, we wanted to look back at our work on Season 3. Fox & Wizard is proud to have been part of it, supporting HBO’s lavish 1880s New York with invisible visual effects, working alongside the production and post teams to keep every frame true to the period.

Season 3 saw the Russells and the van Rhijns collide again. Larry proposes to Marian, Gladys marries the Duke of Buckingham, and George Russell survives an assassination attempt that shakes the family just as Bertha stages the Newport Ball. Peggy’s future takes a bold turn, Agnes takes a leading role at a historical society, and the season closes on a fracture in the Russell marriage and news of Gladys’s pregnancy.

Thank you to the team at HBO for another great season, and for trusting us with a world this detailed.

Seasons 1 to 3 are streaming on HBO Max now, so there’s still time to catch up before the new season begins.
