Today, MARKED premieres globally on Netflix—and we’re proud to have played a key role in bringing this powerful South African story to the screen.
Fox & Wizard served as the production-side VFX Management Team, with Jonathan Alenskas as Visual Effects Supervisor, overseeing the project from early prep through to final delivery. Working closely with the showrunners, directors, and production departments, we helped shape the visual effects strategy and ensure a cohesive, cinematic approach throughout the series.
From concept development and on-set supervision to post-production VFX management, our goal was to support the story with visual effects that feel grounded, invisible when needed, and heightened only when appropriate. MARKED is a tense and emotionally charged thriller that demanded exactly that—restraint, precision, and creative alignment across every shot.
