The Ballad of Wallis Island – Invisible Art

The Ballad of Wallis Island follows Charles (Tim Key), an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and dreams of reuniting his favourite musicians, McGwyer Mortimer (Tom Basden and Carey Mulligan).

Fox & Wizard provided invisible visual effects for the film, with a primary focus on digital paint and fix work. Our main task involved the seamless replacement of artwork throughout the film. This was a classic case of “invisible VFX” where the best contributions are those the audience never notices.
