Fox & Wizard continues to deliver subtle visual effects for The Gilded Age, maintaining the show’s polished, period-perfect look while the stakes behind the storylines escalate.

In Episode 6, financial power plays, fractured relationships, and quiet betrayals take centre stage. George meets with J.P. Morgan and key railroad investors, only to face renewed challenges when planted news stories undermine his deal. Meanwhile, Larry uncovers a copper fortune in Arizona, and Marian ends their engagement after learning of his night at the Haymarket. In New York, Ada sees through Madam Dashkova’s con, Peggy hosts a suffragist tea, and Jack departs with dignity—leaving generous gifts behind. Oscar finds closure with Maud Beaton just before tragedy strikes: John Adams, his new financial backer, is killed in a carriage accident. Overseas, Bertha confronts Lady Sarah, helping Gladys step into her role as duchess and pushing Hector to offer support. Behind the scenes, suspicions turn to Bertha’s maid as the source of ongoing press leaks.
